One of the names of the consort of the Hindu god Shiva. Also known as Parvati.

Umamahesvara
Image of Shiva and Uma together, sometimes riding the bull Nandi.

 

Urna
Whorl of hair between the eyebrows of the Buddha, representing the third eye of great wisdom, one of the signs of an enlightened being. Often dedicated as a round mark.

 

Ushnisha
In Buddhist iconography, a protuberance or topknot on the head of the Buddha, one of the marks of an enlightened being.
